and this May I am VERY aware of how much my body is missing its usual treatments.
Since September 2019 I have been managing my condition through diet, massage, acupuncture, talking therapies and mindfulness.
Since the pandemic hit the physical therapy aspects have been stripped away from my plan and I’m really starting to feel it 8 weeks in!
Pictured in this post are some promo shots of the Thai Yoga Massage I regularly receive from The Body Clinic Hereford https://www.thebodyclinichereford.co.uk/
Thai Yoga Massage uses an energy line system (the ten sen) which the body’s natural life force flows through.
The therapist uses hands, feet and elbows to apply pressure to important points on the energy lines, together with gentle stretching and applied Hatha Yoga. This releases blocked energy and frees the body’s healing potential, restoring balance and harmony.
It improves flexibility, relaxes, restores and energises.
It is HANDS DOWN my favourite form of massage treatment and has provided long lasting pain relief to my whole body.
It supports my recovery physically and mentally and I can’t wait to get back on the mat and feel the healing benefits when the rules of lockdown allow.
This pandemic has affected everyone we know in some shape or form, be that mentally, physically or financially.
I want to send love and thanks to those unable to practice their therapies that are so crucial to so many people’s health and healing.
I’d also like to encourage you to take some time to look into alternative and physical therapies. Take some time to consider whether introducing them to your plan could support your recovery and get curious!
Make contact with an expert in your area. Be informed and when the lockdown lifts, book in and support local businesses in their efforts to re-open!
