I seriously over indulged in December. Despite feeling huge benefits from making major changes to my diet last year I went in hard on dairy, gluten, alcohol and caffeine and my body is REALLY feeling it!
Without doubt the food I have been gorging on in the build up to and over the festive period has contributed to and/or directly triggered anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, fog, IBS and more intense pain in my joints.
It’s been fun eating all the things I have missed but I can honestly say I am looking forward to the benefits of a no gluten, no dairy, no (processed) sugar, no caffeine and no alcohol diet
It isn’t easy but I can pretty much guarantee you will feel benefits from doing the same!
Breakfast today: smoothie with 2 bananas, 1 avacado, 1 pear, 1 apple, 1 chunk of ginger, half a lemon, pint of water and a lemon, ginger & manuka honey pukka tea.
